Goals
Vision
To develop relationships with like minded people seeking community and athletic recreation. Striving to gather images, videos, and stories of people that play trashcan to be shared throughout our social channels to spread the game and ultimately our community.
The 1 Year Target
To continue to hold semi-annual tournaments serving to bring the ATA community together. To design new lines of clothing to create a sense of unity among players. To export sponsored trashcans to cities/campuses interesting in maintaining a weekly trashcan Facebook group.
The How
Establish relationships primarily in Floridian cities with players and advocates of the game. However, it should be noted that contacts developed across the country would not be shunned but cherished. Anyone that plays trashcan with us, or people we've played with, or simply has read about trashcan, is encouraged to get plugged in. A stand-alone environment seldom gathers many. Playing trashcan during large events, in youth groups, at high schools and colleges, or with campus organizations, coupled with an inviting attitude, serves to produce interest and bring friends and strangers together.
The Great Heights
Possessing the purchasing power to loan/rent/give away trashcans and balls to any interested party is the ultimate goal. While layman's equipment for trashcan is very easy to find, setting a standard remains a priority. Eventually we'd like to order custom trashcans from Rubbermaid, just because they would look remarkably official. We also plan to expand the product line into stickers, magnets, custom balls, or anything we can imagine, not necessarily for the sake of capital profit, but as a vehicle to gather interest, strike conversations, and expand our community. Imagination is the only boundary.
